Cars 2

I just want and saw Cars 2 with my family, my father-in-law paid for our tickets and I was excited. My little boy didn't make it all the way through the film but my mother-in-law was willing to take him out so that we could see the film. I loved the film it was not quite the kids show that the first one was but it was good nonetheless. I wouldn't rank it even with the first, but definitely close, I put together all the disney pixar movies and ranked them by my favorites, this was hard because I like all the Pixar movies, so to place one on the bottom was difficult. The movie has alot of action, explosions, and shooting. Its a 007 take with cars. If your kids like that secret agent stuff then see it. I think it was time well spent with my wife and with my son (what he saw anyway) and worth seeing.

Support in all that I do

I have a wonderful wife. Just a few days ago I was working on a Databasing homework assignment that was really giving me grief. The assignment was to produce a procedure in the database that handled certain errors(the details are unimportant). I had been working on this for a few hours. My wife came out of the bedroom after putting my youngest to sleep so that we could read the scriptures together and go to bed,she came and sat down beside me and asked a question about what all the lines of code I was writing meant and what I was trying to accomplush. It we so fun explaining to my wife what was going on I felt that I could finally show her what i had been working so hard to learn. The next day when I mentioned that I enjoyed our conversation she made the comment "yeah I don't do that enough" my wife is so wonderful and supportive even though things were super confusing she still takes an interest in my life.

What I want most

As i was sitting in the car on a long drive home both of my children had fallen asleep and my wife was driving giving me a chance to do some homework. As I sat and looked out the window I began thinking how much I love my family and the one thing that I want my children to have the most is the knowledge that I love them and that no matter what they can come to me for help. As I thought about what I saw as what I wanted most for my family I could not help to think about how much the things I want have changed, when I was in high school is was a fast car, then it changed to a cool computer and games, then to the latest gadget such as an Ipod, Iphone, Ipad. I hope that my children will always know that their father loves them and that I am there when things go wrong, or when things go right and they want someone to scream and yell with them as they celebrate. I hope all fathers get what they want most. I love my family
